Direct Admission in Class X and XII in CBSE School

SNBP International School, Pune

The number of students changes the school while studying in class X or XII on the ground of shifting of Family, better education, distance, medical ground, etc. In order to ensure better adaptability to the academic environment of the new school, students desirous of changing school may be advised to change school while studying in class IX or in XI.

In April 2019, CBSE has trued to take a more wholesome view of the problem and has made it relatively easier now from what it used to be for Schools and Students.

This is what the Examination Bye-Laws says;

As the syllabus prescribed at Secondary level is of two years integrated course, no admission shall be taken in Class X directly. A student shall not be allowed to migrate from one “School” to another during the session after his name has been sent to the Board for the Secondary School(Class X) and Senior School Certificate(Class XII) Examinations. This condition may be waived only in special circumstances by the Chairman.

In case of all such admissions, the schools would obtain post facto approval of the Board within one month of admission of the student.

Here is the list of categories under which the Schools can entertain Direct Admissions and the formalities to be fulfilled by the School at the time of Admissions
